“Run 4 Their Lives” Event in Egypt

Recently, Young Dorcas arranged the marathon "Run 4 Their Lives" which promotes the right of every poor family to have access to a clean water source inside their home.   The event took place in Cairo, Egypt.   The 120 runners that participated were sponsored per each completed lap. The money raised, Euro 15,000, goes directly to a Dorcas supported project targeting: 1200 water connections and 900 latrines in Upper Egypt. The number of event participants... continue

Dorcas Aid Turns 30

Saturday, April 10, a major celebration took place in Andijk, the Netherlands, where the birth and work of Dorcas Aid was celebrated. A thanksgiving service was held at the church and "homebase" of Dirk-Jan Groot, founder and Honorary President of Dorcas Aid whose 65th birthday also was celebrated. -"It's amazing to see how God uses imperfect people for His perfect work" said Dirk Jan in his speech.
