South Sudan: Doors of Elderly Home Open

Today, the Dorcas-built home for grannies in Waw, South Sudan, opened its doors. The building, with rooms for 46 elderly people, includes beds, blankets, bed sheets, kitchen utensils and others necessities for the elderly who - until today - have lived on the street in very difficult circumstances.  On the compound, there are also two office rooms, a kitchen, dining hall  and sanitary facilities including shower rooms and water closets. Help Dorcas help the victims struck by the earthquake in Haiti! Dorcas Aid provides thousands of quake survivors with access to clean drinking water, medical services, shelter, and basic necessities to meet immediate needs.
