PSO
aims at contributing to the structural alleviation of poverty throughout the world by strengthening the capacity of civil society organizations in developing countries. PSO achieves this by supporting Dutch organizations and their partners in developing countries. It does so by funding these activities and helping the local organization to extend its knowledge and strengthen its capacity.
Reuters AlertNet
is a humanitarian news network based around a website. It aims to keep relief professionals and the wider public up-to-date on humanitarian crises around the globe. Alertnet attracts upwards of ten million users a year, has a network of 400 contributing humanitarian organizations. It was started in 1997 by Reuters Foundation.
Viva Network
A global network of Christians passionately concerned for children at risk (81 network initiatives in 48 countries helping 1.2 million children), with the aim of helping people work together to improve children's lives.
Partos
Partos is the national platform for Dutch civil society organisations in the international development cooperation sector. This field includes poverty alleviation, humanitarian intervention, human rights and sustainable development. Many member organisations work directly in developing countries, often in cooperation with partner organisations. Other members focus instead, or additionally, on the Netherlands. In this case, the objectives include influencing policy, gaining and distributing information and knowledge, and consolidating a broad range of support among the Dutch public arena.
Partos supports these organisations in reaching their goals by working to increase professionalism throughout the sector and helping it to position itself clearly in the public eye.
