Dorcas Aid International is ISO 9001:2000 certified.
Dorcas was ISO certfied in 2007. The organisation was assessed in the areas of policy and procedures, organisational structures, performance and client satisfaction, human resource management and the managemnet of resources. All levels of the Dorcas organisation went through the evaluation which took eleven months to complete. This included the thirteen field and regional offices of Dorcas in Eastern Europe, C.I.S. and Africa as well at the five affiliated donor organisations.
The ISO certificate is the beginning of the improvement process of Dorcas. Since the date of receiving the certificate, Dorcas works on continuous improvement of the organisation. Every year a review will take place and every three years our organisation will be subject to another evaluation process.
The President of Dorcas Aid International, Mr. Dirk Jan Groot, receives the ISO certificate.
