Photos: Food for Work in Kenya

From April to mid August, Dorcas, together with the Kenya Relief Consortium, provides some 27,790 persons with emergency food assistance.

Every household receives a monthly ration of 50 kg maize, 10 kg beans and 3 litres cooking oil. Out of the 27,790 persons who receive food, 85% are able to work for it. Until today, they have dug 85 water pans and constructed 198 terraces.
