Dorcas Aid Turns 30

Saturday, April 10, a major celebration took place in Andijk, the Netherlands, where the birth and work of Dorcas Aid was celebrated. A thanksgiving service was held at the church and "homebase" of Dirk-Jan Groot, founder and Honorary President of Dorcas Aid whose 65th birthday also was celebrated.

-"It's amazing to see how God uses imperfect people for His perfect work" said Dirk Jan in his speech.

Michel Gendi, who from today onwards is the new International Director of Dorcas Aid, spoke at the service, among other speakers such as David O'Brian, Chairman of the International Board of Dorcas Aid. The service was celebrated in a sphere of thanksgiving for the 30 years Dorcas has existed to serve the poor and oppressed in the world.
