New: Myanmar Relief Project Photos

Dorcas Aid International is - through its international partnerorganisation Medical Teams International - present in the country, active in providing relief assistance for some 50,000 of the victims in Myanmar. Some of the relief work is also implemented by World Concern Myanmar.

The relief consists of medicines & direct medical care, mosquito nets, hygiene kits and plastic sheeting as well as food aid & water. The assistance is more than needed as the WHO reports that 90% of health care professionals in the cyclone area perished and 60% of health facilities were destroyed.

DAI contributes with Euro 100,000 (approx. US$ 154,000)

The initial relief work will continue until the end of July whereafter the situation will be reviewed. Thank you for making it possible for us to assist the victims!
