Dorcas Aid and ECHO Sign Framework of Partnership

The Humanitarian Aid department (ECHO) of the European Union (i.e., the Member States and the Commission) and Dorcas Aid International signed the Framework of Partnership Agreement 2008 April 1, 2009. 

'
The Framework Partnership Agreement (FPA) is the instrument that sets the principles of partnership between ECHO and Dorcas Aid International, defines the respective roles, rights and obligations of partners and contains the legal provisions applicable to the humanitarian operations financed by ECHO. The overall aim of the new FPA is to improve the implementation of humanitarian aid with a focus on results-driven approach.

ECHO is one of the world's main humanitarian aid donors.
