Achievements Until Now:
Focus has been given to 4 strategic partners and achievements are recorded in improvement of skills on PCM and PME among partners, improved financial management and human resource. For instance, all the 4 partners have personnel policies and 2 have strategic plans. 3 of the 4 partners are part of networks and regularly involve their beneficiaries in analysing their needs. The partners have also developed skills in collaborating with government entities.
Target Group:
Capacity building program targets partner staff and the leadership of these organizations.
Problem Program Addresses:
Lack of efficiency in project planning and implementation, as well as functioning of organizations.
Purpose:
To improve level of efficiency of partners in project planning and implementation.
Main Activities:
Trainings in PCM and PME, financial management, administration, HR and management skills, English language skills, computer skills and dactylographic skills, business planning skills etc has been undertaken. This has been complimented by coaching in reporting by the field office staff, advice on improving networking, strategic planning, vision and organizational policy review, developing a fundraising strategy, as well as research (impact studies) among others.
