Achievements Until Now:
Since 1998 approximately 5-6 containers are shipped each year to South Africa with material support. Each year over 1000 beneficiaries benefited from goods such as food, blankets, shoes, kitchen utensils, stationery packs, income generating equipment and furniture. Different institutes benefited from the goods: hospitals, homes caring for orphaned children, schools, etc.
Target Group:
Annually hundres of beneficiaries receive social aid goods in three provinces. This concerns vulnerable families, TB and Aids patients, OVCs and mentally disabled adults.
Problem Program Addresses:
To strengthen organisations programmes by providing gifts in kind to the most vulnerable.
Purpose:
The assistance seeks to improve the quality of life of vulnerable families by providing material aid and income generating equipment to people in South Africa.
Main Activities:
The provision of goods in kind to organisations working with the vulnerable.
