Achievements Until Now:
In 5 years time 37,000 prisoners were reached.
Target Group:
13,330 prisoners to be served annually in 4 different prisons.
Problem Program Addresses:
Lack of basic provisions for the prisoners, especially women prisoners.
Purpose:
To provide humanitarian aid to the prisoners in Tanzania prisons.
Main Activities:
Provision of basics humanitarian aid to prisoners, which includes:medicines for in-prison dispensaries, hospital bed sheets, medicated mosquito nets, medicates washing soaps, medical kits (with 30 basic items)- 5 kits, laundry equipment (washing machine), stethoscope machine, matresses, bed sheets and blankets, sandals, sports equipments. |
