Achievements Until Now:
The living conditions of more than families improved. Monthly, all families are visited by social workers. Additionally, meetings were organized monthly. During Easter and Christmas, social workers organized feast for families. Meetings and trainings meetings and trainings were organized for improving the emotional and spiritual well-being of the families. 70 children from the sponsored families had an opportunity to spend holidays in the Christian camp.
Target Group:
Low-income families, large families, families where parents or children are handicapped.
Problem Program Addresses:
The consequences of the economic decline in Ukraine can be seen on all levels of society. The social state institutions suffer from a chronic lack of finance. Therefore, the needs of the poor and socially neglected are not adequately met. The most vulnerable groups include the elderly, disabled and large families. With this programme we focus on supporting these families.
Purpose:
Well-being and quality of life of marginalized families improved
Main Activities:
Provision of food parcels, clothing and footwear. Families are visited monthly and psycho-social support is given. Monthly meetings organized. Holidays are celebrated.
